In the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, Dickie Dunaway, the Owner and President of Dunaway Glass for over 40 years, decided it was time for a makeover. The corporate office that was once in the "little brown house: next to the 28th location," was no longer inhabitable. After the 2nd anniversary of the storm the new construction began. Ryan Lawrence, Nancy Dunaway's son took the lead as the construction supervisor. We added on to the original location with an additional 5000 square feet. Then the shuffling took place. The daily operation was moved to the center of the building and the front offices were given a beautiful make over. The newly renovated space now houses the retail auto department and on the east side is our gorgeous corporate office.
Carol Richardson is the Corporate Manager and has been with the company for 13 years. She handles all the behind the scenes work and daily routines. She does both accounts payable and receivable, payroll, insurance and handles the daily decision making of keeping the business running smoothly. She is relied upon by both Dickie and Nancy to feed them information as needed and keeps them abreast of all the daily occurrences at Dunaway Glass.
The corporate office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am till 5:00pm. Carols direct number is 228-863-9120, and she is always available to help you with any questions or concerns.
Warehouse
Dunaway Glass has a warehouse that is about 4000square foot. Cathy Miller is the warehouse manager. She keeps a large inventory, from floor to ceiling, of a wide variety of flat glass products that include: plexi glass, windshields, door glass, back glasses, vent glasses, single and double strength glass, mirrors and any other type of flat glass that you may need. When one of our many locations calls us in need of a part, we usually have it. We keep hundreds of parts in stock and with the help of our assistant, Michael, we are able to deliver that part within a few hours.
Cathy and Michael make a great team. Between the two of them, the warehouse is always manned and well maintained. They take pride in the appearance and effectiveness of how it is run. Cathy places restock orders on a monthly bases so that her inventory is always plentifully. She knows the part numbers to every make and model on the road today, so you can rest assure that we are very knowledgeable and will efficiently assist you when you visit our warehouse.
